About Us
The Mission Valley is a picturesque valley carved by glaciers years ago. The Mission Valley is home to the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi.
Glacier Park is less than 100 miles to the north. The Mission Mountain Range to the east is spectacular. Summer recreation is endless. Watercraft is available for rental, great lodging, camping and endless activities.
The 3 Mission Valley Airports; Polson, Ronan, and St Ignatius are governed by a 6 member Board.

Polson Airport (8S1) serves the city of Polson and the southern shores of Flathead Lake — the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi. Open since 1940 with fuel and airframe services available.
Ronan Airport
3 miles N of Ronan, MT · Elev. 3086 ft MSL
Ronan Airport (7S0) is located north of the town of Ronan in the heart of the Mission Valley. Home to the board meeting lounge and the administrative hub for the Lake County Joint Airport Board. Fuel available 24 hours.
St. Ignatius Airport
1 mile NE of St. Ignatius, MT · Elev. 3006 ft MSL
St. Ignatius Airport (52S) sits near the foothills of the spectacular Mission Mountain Range with views toward Glacier National Park. Open to public use since 1950. 100LL fuel available 24 hours.
Board Meetings
Board meetings are held at the Ronan Airport Lounge on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM. Open to the public.
